Job Description

Personal Care Attendant Opportunity Lubbock, Tx Hi! My name is Amanda and I live in Lubbock. I am a local young professional who has quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy and uses a power wheelchair. I live in my home and have attendants who come to my home to help me with the activities of daily living and assist me with my transportation needs. I am looking to add one person to my existing staff. Training and equipment provided on site. The job consists of the following shifts: 1. Monday
  • Friday 6:30a
  • 9a 2. Monday
  • Friday 12p
  • 1p Pay rate: $17.
25/hour. Payroll is conducted every 2 weeks. Amanda is a Medicaid recipient, so all hired employees submit a W-4 for withholding. Amanda is the employer, but uses a state-mandated third-party agency to conduct payroll. To apply you
MUST:
1. Be 18 years of age or older; 2. Not have a felony conviction OR a pending criminal charge; 3. Be willing to submit to a criminal background check; 4. Provide a current valid CPR certification; 5. Provide a valid Drivers License, and a copy of current car insurance 6. Be able to perform tasks involving pushing/pulling electric patient lift, shower chair and bed drawsheet; 7.
