Attendant Care Staff in Plano, TX We serve individuals with intellectual disabilities. The ideal candidate would have direct care experience, and be dependable, respectful, and patient in challenging situations. Shifts available are afternoons 6 hours or more Mon and Wed, mornings 4-5 hours Tue, Thur, and Fri. This position is responsible for assisting people (1 young male living in a home setting with his parents) served in the Special Needs Community with various aspects of activities of daily living, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for the health, safety and emotional support of the people being served, and documenting the services and supports provided.

Some duties include assistance with:

G-Tube feedings (trained by nurse) helping client bathe, dress, hygiene etc. includes lifting supervising recreational activities do necessary housecleaning to maintain a clean environment communicating with family, medical team, and office staff documentation and effective communication On-the-job training is provided.
