Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs, assessing changes in condition, Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, supporting overall health and wellness. Support medication administration following care plans and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Facilitate patient transfers using appropriate techniques such as patient transfer methods to ensure safety during mobility assistance. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces. Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments or community outings, fostering independence and social engagement. Document care activities and communicate effectively with pati , family members, and healthcare professionals. Implement specialized care for patient with traumatic brain injury Experience Prior experience working in home health care I'd preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and first aid/CPR certification. Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, dementia, or neurodevelopmental disorders is advantageous. Familiarity with assisted living environments or nursing homes enhances your ability to deliver effective care. Proven ability to handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting safely while adhering to proper manual handling protocols. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.
