Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records Support medication administration following prescribed guidelines and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed. Use proper manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safety during movement Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, while respecting their resident's rights Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor health status accurately Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or autism is advantageous Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or medication administration are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks; physical stamina for long shifts is essential Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with care plans, patient monitoring protocols, resident's rights, and home & community care standards Qualifications and Education Requirements Be at least 18 years old with legal work authorization.
