Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional support to residents in a caring, respectful environment. In this vital role, you will assist individuals with their daily needs, promote independence, and enhance their quality of life through personalized care. Responsibilities Assist resident with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure comfort and dignity Support residents with mobility and transfers using safe patient lifting practices and manual handling techniques Administer medication following prescribed protocols and document all care activities accurately Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Provide companionship and engage resident in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Maintain a clean, safe environment by assisting with light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control standards are met Communicate effectively with resident,families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans and address individual needs Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care settings is highly preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks involved in resident care Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is a plus Strong communication skills and compassionate.
