Full-Time Schedule:

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) , you'll play a hands-on role in teaching life skills, encouraging independence, and creating engaging experiences that support personal growth. What You'll Do Lead and support daily program activities that build life skills, social development, and independence Teach and engage in areas such as art, sewing, woodworking, gardening, culinary skills, animal care, and more—based on your strengths and interests Provide supportive supervision tailored to each individual's needs (physical, emotional, and behavioral) Create a fun, inclusive, and adaptive learning environment for individuals of all ability levels Plan and participate in community outings, service projects, and enrichment activities Collaborate with supervisors to keep programming fresh, meaningful, and engaging Document progress and provide weekly summaries for individuals served Support and work alongside volunteers to enhance programming What Makes This Role Special Your skills and passions help shape the program—you're not stuck in a one-size-fits-all role Strong focus on creativity, community involvement, and meaningful engagement Opportunity to make a direct, lasting impact on someone's life every single day What We're Looking For A caring, patient, and dependable individual who is passionate about helping others High school diploma (or higher); experience in teaching, recreation, therapy, or a related field is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities Comfortable driving passenger vans or small buses (no CDL required) with a clean driving record At least 21 years of age Bonus (not required): Bilingual skills Requirements Must meet all background and registry requirements per Texas Health & Safety standards If you're ready to do work that truly matters, we'd love to meet you!

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
