Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Monitor and document changes in individual's behavior or health status
- Implement behavior management techniques as needed
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Collaborate with other partners to ensure the well-being of individuals
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and first aid procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, humility and passion for learning
