Direct Support Professional (DSP) Loving Solutions Residential Services Danville, Virginia Full-Time and Part-Time Join Our Team and Make a Difference! Loving Solutions Residential Services is hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide quality care and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Medicaid Waiver Group Home in Danville, Virginia. As a DSP, you will help individuals live safe, meaningful, and independent lives while providing person-centered care according to each Individual Support Plan (ISP). Responsibilities Provide compassionate, person-centered care and supervision. Assist with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and daily living activities. Administer or assist with medications as required by agency policy and training. Transport individuals to medical appointments, community outings, and recreational activities. Complete daily documentation, progress notes, and other required records accurately and on time. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment. Support individuals in achieving personal goals and increasing independence. Follow all Virginia Medicaid Waiver regulations and agency policies. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years old. Valid Virginia driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation. Ability to pass a criminal background check and all required screenings. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Previous DSP, CNA, caregiver, or human services experience is preferred but not required.
