Our Client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Direct Support Professional in the Fairfax and Burke areas.SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Provide supportive services for children receiving Transitional Living Services in various locations including residential shelters, detention, day/community services or the child's home
- Fill in as assigned for any aide-level position in Residential services
- Document all activities specific to shift or service activity
- Ensure compliance with safe work practices and maintain safe environment in compliance with established agency standards, licensing regulations, and generally accepted practices
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Medication Certification required
- Minimum of 6 months to one year of Direct Support Professional or similar experience
- HS Diploma
- Valid driver's license required
- Clean driving record required
- Willingness and ability to provide direct care and supportive services as needed
- CPR/First Aid Certification
CLIENT'S HOURS
- Monday, Wednesday, and every other Friday from 4:30pm-8:30pm
- Saturday from 9:00am-5:00pm or 10:00am-6:00pm
