Our Client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Direct Support Professional in the Fairfax and Burke areas.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
  • Provide supportive services for children receiving Transitional Living Services in various locations including residential shelters, detention, day/community services or the child's home
  • Fill in as assigned for any aide-level position in Residential services
  • Document all activities specific to shift or service activity
  • Ensure compliance with safe work practices and maintain safe environment in compliance with established agency standards, licensing regulations, and generally accepted practices
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Medication Certification required
  • Minimum of 6 months to one year of Direct Support Professional or similar experience
  • HS Diploma
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Clean driving record required
  • Willingness and ability to provide direct care and supportive services as needed
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
CLIENT'S HOURS
  • Monday, Wednesday, and every other Friday from 4:30pm-8:30pm
  • Saturday from 9:00am-5:00pm or 10:00am-6:00pm
