Job Description

Job Summary Divine Homes Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. In this role, you will help individuals achieve greater independence by assisting with daily living activities, community participation, and personal goals while ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities Provide quality direct care in accordance with the individual's Person-Centered Plan (PCP). Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care as needed. Support community engagement and recreational activities. Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping. Monitor and document the individual's progress and daily activities. Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. Transport individuals to appointments and approved community activities when required. Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and other members of the care team. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance. Ability to pass a criminal background check. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Previous DSP, caregiver, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
