A Nurse's Touch Home Care HURT, VA, Client is a smoker and has cats (indoor) Personal Care Assistant - Certification preferred. Certification can be obtained through our company. Basic responsibilities Personal Care & Hygiene (ADLs)

Bathing Support :

Assist with showering, tub baths, or bed baths while maintaining privacy and safety.

Perineal Care :

Cleanse sensitive areas properly to maintain skin integrity and prevent infections.

Grooming & Hair Care :

Brush hair, assist with shaving (using electric razors), and perform basic skin hydration.

Oral Hygiene :

Assist with teeth brushing, flossing, or cleaning and soaking dentures.

Dressing :

Help the client select appropriate clothing and assist with putting on garments, fasteners, and compression socks.

Toileting & Incontinence Care :

Assist with restroom visits, bedpan routing, changing adult briefs, and applying barrier creams.

Mobility & Physical Support Safe Transfers :

Help the client transition safely from bed to wheelchair, toilet, or recliner, often using a gait belt.

Ambulation :

Guide and steady the client while they walk using canes, walkers, or other assistive mobility tools.

Positioning :

Turn or readjust bedbound clients at scheduled intervals to prevent pressure ulcers (bedsores).

Pay:

From $13.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 39.0 per week
