Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Part-Time Personal Care Assistant (PCA) at our King George location! This position offers an engaging opportunity to work closely with residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being while fostering a safe and welcoming environment. Duties Assist individual with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols. Document care activities accurately in individuals records, ensuring compliance with resident's rights and privacy standards. Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and implementing care plans for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality. Hands-on experience with patient personal care assistance. Familiarity with dementia care, memory care techniques, hospice care principles, and long-term care practices. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is a strong plus. Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred; ongoing training in caregiving skills is encouraged to stay current on best practices.
