Central Support Services is seeking experienced DSPs to work in a licensed DD group home. A Direct Support Professional (DSP) will work in a residential DD group home providing daily support for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. This can include performing personal care tasks, assistance with basic hygiene, medical support, laundry, medication assistance, meal preparation, and community outings. DSPs assist with providing transportation, modeling positive behavior, teaching social skills, and implementing the individual's person centered plan. DSPs are responsible for completing daily progress notes, logs, preparing/cooking/serving balanced meals, shopping, and general housekeeping of the group home. DSPs must be able to drive, have a valid driver's license, pass all required trainings, and be able to pass a background check. Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a residential setting is preferred. This position is based in Lynchburg, VA with ability to work weekends required. The following shifts are available. 1

• 12a) These positions are independent contractor positions paid as 1099 contractors. Contracted per hour rate is $15.00
