Overview:

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals for 1st shift (Morning shift) 2nd shift (Afternoon shift) and 3rd shift (Night shift). As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.

Duties:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal care
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Implement individualized care plans and behavioral management techniques
• Advocate for resident rights and ensure a safe and nurturing environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address medical needs
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Experience:

• Prior experience working with people with developmental disabilities or in assisted living facilities is preferred
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and patient care practices
• Familiarity with social work principles and direct support methodologies
• Understanding of resident rights and support systems
