Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and compassionate PRN (as needed) Direct Support Professionals to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with diverse needs, promoting independence, well-being, and quality of life. Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. Support clients in participating in community activities, appointments, and recreational outings. Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care during your shift. Foster a respectful and encouraging environment that promotes independence and self-esteem. Document observations, progress, and any incidents accurately in accordance with agency policies. Collaborate with team members, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans. Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance clients' overall quality of life. Experience Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, or related fields is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude are essential. Ability to adapt to varying schedules including day and night shifts as needed. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently while following established procedures. Pay:
