Norfolk, VA Join the Brighter Days Housing Team Brighter Days Housing, LLC is seeking dependable, caring, and flexible PRN Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our residential team supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD). This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible hours while also having the opportunity to move into a set weekly schedule as positions become available. ⭐ Opportunity for a Permanent Schedule We believe in promoting from within. • Flexible with their availability

• Able to follow individual support and behavioral plans
• Willing to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Able to complete required documentation accurately and on time
• Able to communicate effectively with management and other staff
• Willing to assist with household responsibilities and community activities
• Committed to providing safe, respectful, person-centered care PRN Scheduling PRN employees may be contacted when coverage is needed for: Day Shifts Evening Shifts Overnight Shifts Weekends Holidays Call-Out Coverage PRN employees are not guaranteed a specific number of weekly hours.

However, employees who maintain good availability, reliability, attendance, documentation, and overall performance may be offered more opportunities to work. Once you accept a shift, you are expected to arrive on time and work the full scheduled shift.

Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:

• Providing supervision and support to individuals with ID/DD
• Assisting with ADLs and personal care
• Meal preparation
• Medication administration when trained and authorized
• Transportation and community activities when authorized
• Maintaining a clean and safe residential environment
• Following individual support plans and behavioral protocols
• Completing Therap documentation, daily logs, and support notes
• Communicating important information to management and incoming staff
