Full-time, Part-time Fortis Healthcare Services is seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)/Caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities in the Purcellville. We are looking for reliable individuals who communicate well, are committed to their scheduled shifts, and are passionate about helping individuals maintain their independence at home and in the community. Current Openings Purcellville, VA- Male or Female Caregiver In-Home Support

Sunday:
9:00 AM-6:00 PM Personal Care- $18/hour
Monday-Sunday:
6:00 PM-12:00 AM Purcellville, VA- Female Caregiver In-Home Support

Friday:
4:00 PM-9:00PM Saturday:

Responsibilities Responsibilities vary depending on the individual's needs and service provided and may include: Supporting individuals with activities of daily living and independent living skills. Assisting with personal care and hygiene when required by the individual's service plan. Preparing meals and assisting with light household tasks. Encouraging independence and helping individuals work toward personal goals. Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction. Supporting community outings, appointments, shopping, recreational activities, and other community-based activities. Following individualized support plans and established routines. Completing required service documentation and shift notes accurately and on time. Observing and reporting changes in an individual's behavior, attitude, or physical condition. Communicating professionally with individuals, families, supervisors, and other members of the support team. Respecting each individual's rights, dignity, privacy, preferences, and choices. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least 1 year of paid or volunteer experience providing care, training, habilitation, or support to adolescents or adults with developmental disabilities or related support needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to consistently work the agreed-upon schedule. Ability to work independently and follow individualized support instructions. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain required certification. Current TB screening/test or willingness to obtain one. Ability to successfully complete required background screening and onboarding requirements. Driving & Transportation Many of our clients require support with community activities and transportation. For assignments requiring transportation, applicants must have: A valid driver's license. A reliable personal vehicle. Current automobile insurance. A safe driving record. Willingness and ability to safely transport clients when required. Approved client-related mileage is reimbursed at $0.50 per mile. Compensation Pay is based on the service being provided:In-Home Support:
