7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. Position Summary Pursue Youth & Family Therapeutic Group Home is seeking experienced, dependable, and highly engaged Direct Support Professionals to support teenage girls between the ages of 12 and 17. This is a hands-on, high-engagement residential environment. Our team members are expected to be actively involved with residents throughout their shifts, not simply provide passive supervision. We work to create a structured, supportive atmosphere where residents can strengthen their independence, develop practical life skills, and make progress toward their individual goals. The ideal candidate will bring positive energy, sound judgment, consistency, and a genuine commitment to helping young people succeed. Candidates must have prior residential group-home experience and experience working directly with teenage girls ages 12-17.

Schedule Available shifts include:

7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. Preference will be given to candidates who are flexible and able to rotate between both shifts based on program and coverage needs. Some weekend and holiday availability will be required. Essential Job Responsibilities Provide active supervision, support, and guidance to residents in accordance with program policies and each resident's individualized service plan. Maintain a safe, structured, therapeutic, and supportive residential environment. Actively engage residents in daily routines, recreational activities, therapeutic activities, and life-skills development. Teach and reinforce skills such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, housekeeping, organization, communication, decision-making, time management, conflict resolution, and healthy relationship-building. Encourage residents to participate in age-appropriate responsibilities and work toward greater independence. Build professional, supportive relationships with residents while maintaining appropriate boundaries. Use trauma-informed and person-centered approaches when responding to residents' behaviors and needs. Assist residents with emotional regulation, coping strategies, problem-solving, and de-escalation during challenging situations. Follow established behavior-support plans, safety plans, house rules, and crisis-response procedures. Monitor residents' whereabouts, activities, interactions, and overall well-being throughout the shift. Complete required shift notes, communication logs, incident reports, medication documentation, and other records accurately and on time. Administer medications in accordance with applicable requirements, program procedures, and current certification. Support residents with scheduled appointments, school-related responsibilities, community activities, and transportation needs as assigned. Prepare or assist with meals and ensure residents follow established routines and expectations. Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the home while encouraging residents to participate in household responsibilities. Communicate important updates and concerns to leadership and incoming staff to support continuity of care. Participate in staff meetings, required training, supervision, and ongoing professional development. Work cooperatively with coworkers, supervisors, service providers, families, and other members of each resident's support team. Protect residents' privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times. Report safety concerns, suspected abuse or neglect, policy violations, and significant incidents immediately in accordance with program procedures. Complete other duties related to resident care and group-home operations as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous experience working in a residential group home is required. Previous experience working directly with teenage girls between the ages of 12 and 17 is required. Ability to work effectively in a high-engagement, hands-on residential setting. Ability to remain calm, professional, and dependable during stressful or emotionally charged situations. Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to establish appropriate boundaries while providing compassionate and consistent support. Ability to follow written policies, individualized service plans, safety procedures, and supervisory direction. Ability to successfully complete all required employment and background-screening requirements. High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Certifications Preference will be given to candidates who currently hold the following certifications: TOVA certification Medication Administration certification CPR/First Aid certification Candidates must be willing to obtain and maintain all certifications and training required for the position. Pay:
