The LEE serves as a positive peer presence, helping participants maintain a safe, structured, and supportive living environment while encouraging accountability, independence, recovery, and progress toward personal goals. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and understands the importance of maintaining professional boundaries while providing encouragement and peer-based support. Key Responsibilities Provide peer support, encouragement, and guidance to participants in the home. Maintain a positive, safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment. Assist participants with maintaining daily routines, structure, accountability, and independent living skills. Encourage participants to follow individualized goals, house expectations, and program guidelines. Build healthy, professional relationships with participants while maintaining appropriate boundaries. Observe participant behavior and promptly communicate concerns, incidents, or significant changes to leadership. Complete required shift notes, documentation, incident reports, and other program records accurately and on time. Assist with conflict resolution and de-escalation when appropriate. Support participants in accessing community resources, appointments, meetings, employment opportunities, and other services as directed. Conduct routine household and participant check-ins as required. Help ensure house rules, safety procedures, curfews, and program expectations are followed. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, audits, and other required program activities. Maintain confidentiality and protect participant information. Perform other participant-support duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Must be computer literate and comfortable completing electronic documentation. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Dependable, punctual, patient, and able to work independently. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality. Experience in peer support, recovery services, behavioral health, social services, supportive housing, or a related field is preferred. Peer Support Specialist certification is preferred if applicable to the position/program requirements . Must be able to successfully complete all required background checks and training.

Position Details:

Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week , with evening and weekend availability required . Current program coverage hours include Monday-Friday from 4 PM-12 AM and Saturday-Sunday from 12 PM-8 PM.
