Availability Preferred:
25-40 hours/week At Elite Postpartum Doulas , we believe exceptional postpartum support creates confident parents and thriving families. We are seeking compassionate, reliable professionals who are passionate about newborn care and supporting families during the postpartum transition. Whether your background is as a postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, nanny, infant teacher, pediatric healthcare professional, or another infant-focused role, we'd love to connect with you. Our agency thoughtfully matches doulas with families throughout the Greater Seattle Area , including Seattle, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Kirkland, Redmond, Issaquah, Bothell, Edmonds, Shoreline, Lynnwood, Renton, and surrounding communities , allowing you to build a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact. What You'll Do Every family's needs are unique.
Your support may include:
Newborn care and education Feeding support Helping parents build confidence caring for their baby Establishing healthy newborn routines Overnight newborn support Emotional support throughout the postpartum period Light household tasks related to baby care Collaborating closely with families to provide personalized support Typical shifts include:
Day Support:
5-6 hours
Overnight Support:
8 hours Applicants with 25-40 hours of weekly availability are preferred.
You are someone who:
Has 1-2+ years of professional infant care experience Communicates professionally and compassionately Is dependable and enjoys building relationships with families Is calm, patient, and adaptable Has reliable transportation and is willing to travel throughout the Greater Seattle area (up to approximately one hour) Can successfully pass a background check Holds current Infant/Adult CPR & First Aid certification Has or is willing to establish a business entity (DBA, LLC, etc.) Is willing to complete an approved postpartum doula certification if not already certified Experience with twins, premature infants, overnight newborn care, or lactation support is a plus.
