A Home Health Aide helps individuals who are disabled, elderly, or chronically ill with daily tasks, such as dressing, washing, and light housekeeping. They can care for patients in their homes or other healthcare settings, and may perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. These roles typically require more comprehensive agency-approved training programs.

Job Description:
Responsible for patient care under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist. Responsible for the timely, complete, and accurate scheduling of patients while meeting payor requirements. Manages telephone calls and appropriately communicates information with patients, physicians, and/or staff.
Qualifications:
High school diploma and additional post-secondary classes in medical insurance, medical terminology, and health care business preferred. Hospital or clinic admitting experience utilizing computer/keyboarding skills, medical terminology, health insurance processing, excellent customer service skills, and decision-making skills preferred.
