Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In-Home Care Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized memory or dementia care. This role involves delivering high-quality personal care, assisting with daily activities, and supporting clients in maintaining their independence within their home environment. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and supporting care plans. Support clients with mobility using transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques. Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being, especially for those with Alzheimer's or dementia. Maintain detailed documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with clients and their families. Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments. Knowledge of patient observation, dementia care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Familiarity with medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and techniques for patient transfer methods. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in hospice or Alzheimer's care is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely while maintaining client dignity. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation compliance. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities is desirable. Valid driver's license and personal transportation assistance capabilities preferred for client outings or appointments.
