Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and care to individuals in an assisted living facility. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques. Monitor and observe patients' conditions, noting changes in vital signs, behavior, or health status to ensure prompt response to any concerns. Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and safety. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties, laundry, and sanitation tasks consistent with health standards. Document patient interactions, observations, and care provided accurately in compliance with healthcare protocols. Qualifications Experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care is highly preferred. But will train. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs etc. Familiarity with care plans related to dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care. Prior experience in group home settings, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments is advantageous.
