Various shifts available, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays About the Position We are seeking dependable, compassionate, and caring individuals to join our team as Caregivers in our Adult Family Homes. Caregivers provide daily support to adults in a comfortable, home-like environment while promoting their independence, dignity, safety, and overall well-being. We are hiring four candidates for a variety of shifts, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. We are willing to work with candidates to find a schedule that fits their availability and our residents' needs. Responsibilities Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care to residents Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene as needed Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning according to individual needs and care plans Prepare and serve meals and provide assistance with eating when necessary Administer or assist with medications as required and within the scope of training and regulations Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment Assist residents with daily activities, appointments, errands, and recreational activities as appropriate Provide companionship and encourage positive social interaction Monitor residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor Follow individual care plans, home policies, and safety procedures Maintain accurate and timely documentation Respect each resident's privacy, dignity, personal choices, and independence Work cooperatively with other caregivers, supervisors, families, and healthcare professionals Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established emergency procedures Qualifications Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect residents' privacy Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including assisting residents with mobility and completing household tasks Previous caregiving, healthcare, CNA, or direct-care experience is preferred but may not be required depending on the position Must be willing to complete required training and maintain required certifications Must be able to pass any required background checks and meet applicable employment requirements What We Offer Full-time and part-time positions Multiple shifts available Flexible scheduling based on availability and home needs A supportive, home-like work environment Opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents Training and opportunities to develop caregiving skills Positions available in Watertown and the Helenville area Schedule We are currently hiring for a variety of shifts.
