Full-Time Join the Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center Team! Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide quality care and support to individuals receiving services in Mercer County. This position plays a vital role in helping consumers achieve greater independence while ensuring their safety, well-being, and personal growth. Position Summary The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides appropriate services to assist consumers by ensuring their physical, social, emotional, health, economic, safety, and training needs are met. DSPs work directly with individuals to encourage independence, promote dignity, and enhance quality of life in a supportive environment. Education & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Must be physically able to assist consumers and perform job-related duties. Must be able to utilize approved verbal and physical interventions when necessary. Reliable communication device preferred to maintain regular communication with supervisors. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
