MLT Generalist Scheduled Shift:
Monday to Friday 06:00 p.m. to 02:00 p.m. We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Generalist to join our clinical laboratory team. This position performs patient testing across multiple laboratory departments, including Hematology, Chemistry, Serology/Immunology, and Urinalysis , while maintaining quality control, instrument performance, accurate documentation, and timely result reporting. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working as an MLT in a clinical laboratory and is comfortable performing testing across multiple departments rather than working exclusively in one specialty. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and complex clinical laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures. Perform testing in Hematology, Chemistry, Serology/Immunology, Urinalysis, and other assigned laboratory departments. Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation. Perform and document quality control according to laboratory procedures. Review test results and follow established procedures for reporting and documentation. Recognize abnormal or questionable results and follow appropriate procedures for investigation or escalation. Maintain accurate records and comply with laboratory safety and quality requirements. Assist with maintaining laboratory competency and regulatory compliance. Work collaboratively with other laboratory staff and supervisors. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program or otherwise meets applicable CLIA qualification requirements for the position. Hands-on experience performing clinical laboratory testing. Ability to work the scheduled Monday-Friday, 6:00 PM-2:00 AM shift . MLT certification (ASCP or equivalent) preferred, but not required. 1-2 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred. Experience Requirements 1-2 years in clinical lab setting.
