  • Job Title: Millwright
  • Job Description
  • This role focuses on installing, assembling, and setting up industrial machinery and tanks, ensuring all equipment is properly leveled, aligned, and securely anchored to floor specifications. You will work on complex mechanical and industrial systems, supporting large-scale projects in a demanding and safety-focused environment.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Set up and install new machinery and tanks according to engineering and floor specifications.

+ Level, align, and anchor equipment to ensure safe, stable, and precise operation.

+ Perform installation and assembly of industrial equipment, tanks, and related mechanical systems.

+ Use rigging techniques and equipment to safely move, position, and secure heavy machinery and components.

+ Support welding and mechanical repair activities as needed to complete installations and maintenance tasks.

+ Inspect installed equipment to verify proper alignment, secure anchoring, and operational readiness.

+ Collaborate with other trades and team members to coordinate installation and maintenance activities on site.

+ Follow all safety procedures, including working safely at heights and in an industrial construction environment.

+ Use personal tools and equipment to perform daily millwright, rigging, and mechanical tasks efficiently.

+ Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues, including in Spanish where applicable, to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.

  • Essential Skills
  • + At least 5 years of experience working as a Millwright with rigging responsibilities.

+ Hands-on experience with installation and assembly of industrial equipment and tanks.

+ Strong rigging skills and the ability to safely move and position heavy machinery.

+ Mechanical aptitude and experience working in industrial or mechanical environments.

+ Ability to perform basic welding tasks to support installation and repair work.

+ Capability to perform equipment leveling, aligning, and anchoring to precise specifications.

+ Comfort working from heights and in a large industrial construction setting.

+ Ability to work extended hours, including 10-hour shifts and some Saturdays, as required.

+ Possession of a personal set of tools suitable for millwright and rigging work.

+ Spanish-speaking or bilingual communication skills to support team coordination on site.

  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Previous experience in rigging is preferred and highly valued.

+ Experience in industrial construction or large-scale manufacturing environments.

+ Experienced in mechanical repair and maintenance of industrial equipment.

+ Welding experience in an industrial or construction setting.

+ Ability to adapt to variable start times, including early morning shifts as early as 4 a.m. during summer months.

+ Strong attention to safety, detail, and adherence to site procedures and standards.

  • This role is based on a large industrial job site, working primarily on advanced manufacturing facilities.

The schedule typically consists of five 10-hour days per week, with regular opportunities for Saturday work, totaling around 50 hours or more when overtime is available. Start times can vary and may begin as early as 4 a.m. during the summer, requiring flexibility and reliability. The work involves operating in an active construction and industrial environment, frequently working at heights and around heavy equipment and machinery. You will use your own tools along with site-provided equipment, following strict safety protocols and procedures throughout all tasks.

  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $51.

91 - $51.91/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
