Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a 13-week travel contract in Arizona . In this role, you will perform laboratory testing, process patient specimens, and deliver accurate test results to support quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple laboratory disciplines and be flexible with scheduling during the assignment. Responsibilities Perform specimen collection, processing, testing, and result reporting. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. Ensure compliance with quality control, safety, and regulatory standards. Accurately document laboratory results and maintain patient records. Communicate critical test results promptly to the healthcare team. Follow infection control and laboratory safety protocols. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Work flexible schedules, including occasional weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed. Requirements High School Diploma plus required laboratory science coursework or completion of an approved military laboratory training program. National certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) required or eligible per facility guidelines. Minimum 6 months of clinical laboratory experience. Experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology, and Urinalysis. Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality assurance, and safety standards. Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Active state license, if applicable. Experience with Allscripts EMR is preferred.
Pay:
$2,420.00 - $2,486.00 per week
