Responsibilities Assist in preparing samples and reagents following established laboratory procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency. Support microbiological testing, histological processing, and molecular biology experiments under supervision. Maintain precise records of experimental data, observations, and results using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Participate in routine quality control checks and document findings to support compliance with CGMP regulations. Contribute to research projects by collecting data, performing analysis, and preparing reports for review. Support laboratory maintenance tasks such as equipment calibration, inventory management, and cleanliness to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Enrolled in or recent graduate of a program related to biology, chemistry, veterinary science, or a related scientific field. Basic understanding of laboratory techniques including pipetting, sample preparation, and microscopy. Familiarity with microbiology, histology, molecular biology methods or clinical laboratory procedures is preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent data collection and analysis skills. Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols, EPA standards, regulations, and NIOSH practices is advantageous. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while demonstrating initiative in learning new skills. Good math skills for data analysis and measurement accuracy; experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is a plus.
