Altaflex, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking for a Lab Techician 2 to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for following methodologies: performing routine analysis, monitoring process lines, wastewater treatment system, and performing microsections. Responsibilities Testing all chemical incoming, in-process, spent process & waste water samples for internal/external use. Responsibility of performing micro-sectioning to measure copper plating thickness, dielectric layers, solder joint quality, and other structural features and provide feedback to managers. Inspect, replenish, analyze and maintain the wastewater system. Prepare laboratory and Micro Sectioning reports to be submitted for customer review Follow appropriate methodologies and SOP's as required. Label and characterize containers as per the Transportation of Dangerous Goods for proper disposal of spent solutions and sludge. Experience in cross section preparation and analysis desired. 1+ years of micro section analysis experience is needed. Familiarity with microscope and laboratory procedures in manufacturing environment desired. Computer data entry and microscope operation desired. Printed circuit board related experience desired. Ability to read and interpret customer blueprint and specification helpful. Must be able to multi-task projects. Must have good hand-eye coordination, to use technical equipment with accuracy.
