Compensation & Bonuses $35.00-$40.00 per hour $2,500 Signing Bonus with a minimum 1 year commitment $5000 Retention Bonus with a minimum 1 year commitment Full-time position 401(k) with matching Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Pet insurance Retirement plan About the Role We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused RPSGT / Polysomnographic Technologist to perform and monitor sleep studies while providing a safe, comfortable, and professional experience for our patients. Sleep Technologists generally work 10-hour shifts , with schedules based on patient volume and business needs. The position may require availability for both overnight and daytime studies based on staffing requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients for diagnostic sleep studies and explain procedures clearly. Apply electrodes, sensors, oximeters, and other equipment required for sleep studies. Perform and monitor polysomnographic studies while ensuring high-quality recordings. Calibrate polysomnography and ancillary equipment before and during studies. Monitor patients throughout the study and identify technical or patient-related concerns. Troubleshoot equipment and recording issues. Complete required pre- and post-study questionnaires and documentation. Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after testing. Safely disconnect and assist patients following completion of studies. Accurately archive and maintain sleep study data. Perform general equipment maintenance and sterilization. Respond appropriately to emergency situations with patient safety as the priority. Follow departmental policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Communicate patient, technical, staffing, and operational concerns to the appropriate leadership. Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities.

Qualifications Required:

Current RPSGT certification or equivalent Current CPR/BLS certification Hands-on experience performing polysomnographic sleep studies Demonstrated competency with polysomnography and sleep study procedures Ability to operate and troubleshoot polysomnography and oximetry equipment Strong written and verbal English communication skills Excellent patient care and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and respond appropriately to emergency situations Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Preferred:

Post-high school education or coursework in biological sciences, sleep medicine, respiratory care, or a related field Experience with different types of sleep studies and PAP titration Experience working in a sleep center or sleep laboratory Professional Development The Polysomnographic Technologist is expected to: Maintain current RPSGT certification or equivalent. Maintain current CPR/BLS certification. Participate in continuing education programs. Complete an average of 10 CME credits in sleep medicine annually , or 30 CME credits averaged over a three-year period. Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities. Why Join Us?
