Contract to Hire Overview A growing laboratory organization is seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to support sample preparation and laboratory operations in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for recent science graduates looking to gain hands-on laboratory experience and build a long-term career within a collaborative team setting. Responsibilities Assist with sample preparation activities including aliquoting and media preparation Maintain accurate documentation and data tracking for all laboratory samples Monitor laboratory inventory and communicate supply needs as necessary Support senior laboratory technicians with preparation for incoming samples and daily lab operations Follow laboratory SOPs and maintain a clean, organized work environment Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely sample processing Requirements Bachelor's degree in a science-related field required Entry-level opportunity; no prior industry experience required Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills Academic or industry laboratory instrumentation experience preferred, particularly related to sample preparation Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
