Lab Technician

Job Description

LaSalle Network is partnering with a growing food manufacturing organization to hire a Lab Technician to support its Food Science and Innovation team. This role is ideal for an early-career food science professional looking to gain hands-on experience in product development, laboratory operations, testing, and innovation. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Full-Time What's the job? Support R&D and innovation projects through formula preparation, scaling, sample testing, tasting and product evaluation Assist with lab scheduling, project preparation, and day-to-day laboratory operations Perform data entry, recordkeeping, and documentation of formulations, testing results, and observations Maintain lab organization, cleanliness, inventory, and supplies Coordinate shipping and receiving of product samples and materials Assist with quality checks and routine testing to support product consistency Work closely with food scientists and product developers to execute experiments and provide hands-on project support Support lab scaling initiatives and contribute to process and operational improvements What's needed? Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology , or a related field Internship or hands-on experience in a food industry, product development, or laboratory environment preferred Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills Comfortable working with formulas, measurements, and basic laboratory equipment Strong communication and documentation skills Collaborative, team-oriented attitude with the flexibility to jump in and support where needed Eagerness to learn and grow within a hands-on Food Science and Innovation environment What's in it for me?
