36 hours/week Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Meeker, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have strong laboratory skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a clinical healthcare environment. This position offers 36 guaranteed hours per week on a day shift schedule, with variable on-call responsibilities. Responsibilities Perform laboratory testing accurately and efficiently according to established procedures. Collect, process, prepare, and analyze laboratory specimens. Perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures within scope of practice. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as required. Verify and document test results accurately. Follow quality control, safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation. Communicate effectively with laboratory staff, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Respond to variable on-call needs as required by the facility. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable healthcare regulations. Requirements Current registered MLT or MLS certification is required. ASCP, CLS, or equivalent certification is required. Clinical laboratory experience preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work day shifts and participate in variable on-call coverage. Must meet all facility and applicable regulatory requirements.Pay:
$1,800.00 - $1,890.00 per weekExperience:
