Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-level ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Excretion) Assay Plate-Based Screener to join our dynamic team. This is a Full-time permanent position at our client's site located in Groton, CT. Working within the Absorption and Distribution Group in ADME Sciences within the Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics, and Metabolism (PDM) department, the individual will be responsible for carrying out high-throughput transporter, permeability, and binding assays in support of small molecule discovery.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform plate-based in vitro assays of novel small molecules and analyze generated data. Use robotics and automated liquid handling systems in the performance of screening. Utilize aseptic techniques to culture and plate cells. Partner with the bioanalytical team for sample analysis. Maintain up to date electronic laboratory notebooks and records in accordance with customer policy. Comply with all safety training and good laboratory practices. EXPECTATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related discipline with 2+ years, or a Master's degree with 1+ year, of relevant laboratory experience in drug discovery, ADME, biology, or cell biology. This is not a Ph.D. level position. Ability to handle large volumes of data and perform data analyses. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management are required. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to keep accurate records using electronic notebooks. Hands-on experience with automated robotic liquid handling equipment is a plus. On-site 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during core business hours (9 AM - 3 PM).
