40.0 Responsibilities Support study set up to prepare for necropsy and histology portions of non GLP and GLP studies. Train to fully support necropsy and histology techniques as outlined in SOPs and directed by study protocols. Communicate with the pathologist and laboratory manager to ensure proper collection, handling, and submission of specimens, including chain of custody forms for outsourced work. Ensure proper use and preventative maintenance of equipment and laboratory space. Maintain full traceability of work and specimens. Requirements HS degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience OR A.S Degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience. Good Laboratory Practice Proficiency. Foundation in general laboratory skills and processes. Understanding of SOPs, lab safety, and PPE guidelines. Ability to recognize, document, and resolve data errors. Ability to multitask while maintaining efficiency and quality. Basic technical knowledge of relevant disciplines (histology, animal science) preferred. Hands-on experience with necropsy or tissue collection, histology, microtomy, tissue processing, or slide staining techniques preferred. Experience working in a GLP lab environment preferred.
