High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a lab, production, or hands-on technical role is a plus. Mechanically inclined and comfortable with repetitive, hands-on tasks. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation. Good written and verbal communication skills. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Capable of lifting and moving items up to 30 lbs. Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on tasks in a lab setting.Responsibilities Position Summary:
This is a technician-level role focused on hands-on execution of routine procedures. It is not intended for candidates seeking research, strategic, or leadership opportunities. The role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable with routine tasks in a collaborative laboratory environment. This is not a research, strategic, or leadership role.Responsibilities:
Arrive on time at 7:00 am Work collaboratively in a team environment. Maintain respectful, clear, and professional communication at all times. Support the execution of routine laundry product performance tests for prototype evaluation and advertising claims. Perform standardized testing procedures (e.g., stain removal, softening) after training. Follow detailed standard operating procedures for washing, drying, staining, and test preparation. Independently prepare test materials (e.g., labeling fabrics and towels, preparing stains). Work under the guidance of senior staff; no experimental design or research responsibilities. Operate laundry equipment and basic lab instrumentation. Communicate with test requesters to clarify product details and test setup, as needed. Ensure stains are applied accurately and consistently, and that test results meet quality standards. Maintain lab cleanliness and supply inventory; assist with basic data collection for analysis by senior scientists. Collect and compile test data for review by department scientists. Assist with inventory and restocking of lab supplies. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.Department:
