We are seeking an empathetic and reliable Caregiver who has a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and services to meet the personal care needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Complies with CareBuilders at Home policies/procedures Complies with client facility nursing policies/procedures Maintains confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel Documents patient care as assigned in accordance with Carebuilders policies and procedures Follows the patient's plan of care as assigned Delivers personal care services to patients as assigned Takes vital signs and documents according to facility protocols Records patient input and output as assigned Maintains competency by participating in continuing education programs and meets state specific requirements Provides patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are preserved Performs other duties as assigned Duties, responsibilities, and activities may vary by assignment and may change at any time with or without notice
Requirements:
Completion of a state-approved certified nursing program and/or successful passing of a competency evaluation program which meets state regulations At least six months of work experience as a CNA in a healthcare or homecare setting We can't wait for you to join our team!
