Laboratory Analyst -
Second Shift Location:
Wilmington, DE Payrate:
$31.69/hour
Schedule:
40 hours/week,
Monday-Friday Shift:
Approximately 4:00 PM-12:30 AM, with some flexibility

In-person Job Summary:
We are seeking a ToF-SIMS Laboratory Analyst to support R D, TS&D, and Manufacturing activities. The candidate will operate a Time-of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (ToF-SIMS) instrument, prepare semiconductor and advanced-material samples, perform routine analyses, and document results.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and handle wafers, films, powders, coatings, and other materials. Perform routine ToF-SIMS surface analysis, chemical imaging, and depth profiling. Operate the instrument, including sample loading, vacuum operation, beam tuning, and data acquisition. Perform basic instrument maintenance and laboratory housekeeping. Document test conditions, observations, and analytical results. Support technical reports and communicate findings to scientists. Follow all laboratory safety and waste-disposal procedures.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience with sample preparation and laboratory instrumentation. Semiconductor/advanced materials experience preferred. Familiarity with mass spectrometry, surface analysis, spectroscopy, microscopy, or high-vacuum systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Training:
Day shift (approximately 8:30 AM-5:00 PM) for the first 3 months, followed by second-shift assignment.
