Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in phlebotomy, laboratory procedures and techniques, with experience in both clinical and industrial laboratory settings. This role requires proficiency in various laboratory practices, adherence to FDA regulations, and a commitment to quality control. The Laboratory Technician will play a crucial role in supporting research and development efforts while ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). Responsibilities Conduct laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols and procedures. Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of results. Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality. Collect, record, and analyze data from experiments, maintaining detailed documentation. Assist in the preparation of samples for analysis using various laboratory techniques Collaborate with team members on research projects, contributing to scientific research initiatives. Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data management and reporting. Stay updated on FDA regulations and GLP standards to ensure compliance in all laboratory activities. Order and manage laboratory kits for multiple trials Obtain vital signs Conduct EKG's Experience Proven experience in an industrial or clinical laboratory setting is preferred. 1-2 years of inpatient or outpatient Phlebotomy experience Strong understanding of laboratory techniques IATA certification Aseptic technique Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.
