Overview Join our dynamic research team as a Research Laboratory Technician, where your expertise will drive scientific discovery and innovation. This vital role involves supporting laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and assisting in cutting-edge research projects. You will work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to advancing knowledge in biological sciences, contributing to impactful research that shapes future solutions. Your technical proficiency and meticulous attention to detail will be essential in maintaining high-quality laboratory practices and supporting our mission to push scientific boundaries. Responsibilities Perform a variety of laboratory procedures including cell culture, microbiology, histology, molecular biology techniques, and chemical handling safety procedures. Maintain and operate laboratory instruments and equipment with precision, adhering to laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs). Conduct quality control assessments and ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), FDA regulations, and laboratory safety protocols. Record detailed laboratory data accurately using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and maintain comprehensive research records. Assist in research & development activities by preparing samples and analyzing results to support ongoing projects. Follow strict sterile techniques and laboratory safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Support laboratory inventory management, including ordering supplies and calibrating instruments as needed. Qualifications Experience in an industrial or clinical laboratory setting, with familiarity in
GLP, CGMP, FDA
regulations, and microbiology or molecular biology techniques. Demonstrated proficiency with laboratory instruments, microscopes, pipettes, centrifuges, and other scientific equipment. Excellent record-keeping skills with attention to detail; experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is preferred. Ability to follow complex laboratory procedures accurately while maintaining compliance with safety standards. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Prior experience working within a research setting is highly desirable. Pay:
$21.00 - $22.00 per hour
