Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laboratory procedures, quality control, and scientific research. This role involves conducting experiments, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and GLP standards. The Laboratory Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our research and development efforts while maintaining high-quality standards in all laboratory activities. Responsibilities Conduct laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols and procedures. Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of results. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning through regular maintenance and calibration. Collect, analyze, and interpret data from experiments, documenting findings accurately. Adhere to FDA regulations, GLP, and CGMP guidelines throughout all laboratory processes. Assist in the preparation of samples for microbiological analysis, histology, molecular biology, and other relevant techniques. Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and management. Collaborate with team members on research projects and contribute to scientific publications as needed. Stay informed about advancements in laboratory techniques and methodologies relevant to the field. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field such as biology, microbiology, or veterinary science is preferred. Experience in an industrial or clinical laboratory setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with animal physiology and veterinary terminology is a plus. Proficiency in laboratory techniques including molecular biology, histology, and microbiology. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data collection and analysis. Knowledge of research & development processes within a laboratory environment. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for calculations related to experiments and data analysis.
