Sensory Study Execution:
Set up and lead Sensory Evaluation panels, including sample preparation and controlled cooking according to strict Quality Assurance (QA) protocols.
Microbiology & Chemistry Support:
Ensure all food samples are handled with scientific precision to maintain the integrity of Microbiology and Chemistry testing. Data Management (LIMS): Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and sensory software to record, track, and analyze test data. Quality Control (QC): Maintain a sanitized, standardized environment to reduce bias and ensure uniformity in all food testing procedures.
Documentation:
Create detailed reports to support corporate quality and continuous improvement processes.
Candidate Profile:
What We Are Looking For The Hiring Manager is seeking candidates with a background in
Scientific Food Research Requirements:
Educational Background:
Degree or coursework in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific field.
Industry Experience:
1+ year of experience in a lab setting, specifically focused on Food Safety, Quality Control (QC), or Sensory Evaluation.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Lab Software (LIMS) and basic computer applications.
