About the Role As a Senior Lab Instrumentation Technician, you will play a critical role in advancing high-tech filtration and fluid systems by providing expert technical support for laboratory testing and instrumentation. You will collaborate with engineering teams to develop test procedures, analyze complex data, and ensure the integrity of research and development projects. Responsibilities Review project requirements against standard operating procedures to select optimal test equipment and execute precise project workflows. Monitor test performance and data acquisition systems, applying technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues. Perform comprehensive testing on hydraulic manifolds, liquid filters, and air products, including pressure, vibration, endurance, and impulse testing. Conduct analytical research, including microscopy, materials science, and chemical analysis, to support qualification projects. Design and fabricate custom laboratory fixtures to ensure safe and efficient testing environments. Maintain accurate records and perform statistical calculations to validate test results and project outcomes. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in aerospace product qualification testing, or an Associate degree in a relevant technical field. Proven expertise in air and fluid mechanical systems, electronic controls, and process automation. Strong ability to interpret complex technical specifications and apply root cause analysis to solve technical problems. Must meet export control requirements, including U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status. Proficiency in data acquisition and mechanical troubleshooting. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with National Instruments LabVIEW for data control. Background in mechanical engineering principles for laboratory setup design. Experience in fluid properties testing and filterability analysis.
