Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. About the Role A1 Live Scan Collection Inc. is seeking a versatile Phlebotomist Technician to join our team. This position combines specimen collection duties with cross-training across our full suite of client services, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and direct client interaction in a fast-paced office setting. Key Responsibilities Perform professional, safe, and accurate blood draws and specimen collection for DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol screening programs, following all chain-of-custody and compliance procedures. Conduct Live Scan electronic fingerprinting for employment applicants, licensing applicants, healthcare workers, and other agency-required submissions. Support FBI fingerprint-based background check appointments for volunteer organizations, immigration clients, and professional licensing needs. Process traditional ink fingerprint cards for out-of-state licensing, federal forms, and immigration purposes. Assist clients with insurance and banking/financial licensing fingerprint submissions. Provide mobile notary services, passport photo services, and general document/identity verification support as needed. Assist with FBI Apostille processing and authentication service appointments. Maintain accurate records, verify client identification and required paperwork (ORI numbers, agency forms, authorization documents), and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Deliver excellent customer service to a diverse client base including medical professionals, government contractors, businesses, and individuals. Qualifications Active phlebotomy certification (required). Prior experience with specimen collection and chain-of-custody procedures preferred. Willingness to be trained and certified in Live Scan fingerprinting, notary services, and other in-house procedures. Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and confidentiality when handling sensitive client information. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask across different service lines during a single shift.
