Swami Compounding a custom rubber compounder is looking for a full-time Lab Technician Manager to join our team in Rome, Georgia.

Swami Compounding is a custom rubber compounder started with an aim to provide quality rubber compounds for various applications such as Tire Retreads, Conveyor belts, Floor Mats, Roofing, Wire & Cable, Hoses, Construction, Automotive etc. Our current mixing capacity is 60 Million lb. with one fully automated mixing line with 250-liter Banbary mixer. We currently mix
NR, SBR, EPDM, IR, IIR, BR, NBR, CR
polymers.

Rome, Georgia Essential Job Function:
  • Perform testing and measurements on rubber compounds using laboratory equipment such as, Lab Press, Mooney Viscometer, MDR, Tensometer Hardness Tester, Density tester, Lab Oven etc.
  • Prepare Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each completed Order
  • Collect, prepare, and label samples accurately for testing and evaluation
  • Record, analyze, and report test data in accordance with established procedures
  • Assist in developing, building, or testing prototypes, products, and processes.
  • Support root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
  • Manage and maintain R&D lab material inventory
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Completed at least
Highschool Compensation:
$19 to $20/hour
Shift:
1st Shift, Monday to Thursday (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
