Savannah, GA Job Details Contract $75 a day 6 hours ago Qualifications Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines Bilevel positive airway pressure (BiPAP) machines Full Job Description Nationwide Medical, Inc., a durable medical equipment (DME) company located in Calabasas, CA, is currently seeking Respiratory Therapists/Sleep Technicians in Savannah, GA to work per diem and perform in-home CPAP and BiLevel setups.
Job Duties:
Setup and educate sleep apnea patients on the usage and maintenance of their CPAP and BiLevel equipment.
Responsibilities Include:
Contacting patients to schedule a date and time to assist them, setup of patient's machine, and setting machine pressure, comfort settings, etc. per the specifications of the patient's prescription. Fitting patient with the appropriate mask type and size and educating patient on the usage and maintenance of their equipment so they are able to be successful and compliant. Patient setup paperwork will also need to be completed with each setup.
Knowledge and Skills:
It is necessary to have in-depth knowledge of sleep apnea as a disorder and diagnosis. Proficient knowledge in the usage and maintenance of in-home CPAP and BiLevel equipment as well as different types of mask/interfaces.
Education Qualification and Experience:
You must have experience dealing with CPAP and BiLevel equipment. Experience in a sleep lab or DME setting is preferred, but not required. An active CRT, RCP or RRT license is also preferred, but not required.
Compensation:
For CPAP and BiLevel setups, we pay a flat rate of $75 for initial setups and $50 for follow-up visits, if needed. Additional Details about the
