A Medical Laboratory Technician helps with the performance of laboratory tests in toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology laboratories, which provide information for medical patient diagnosis and treatment. Sets up, operates, and maintains laboratory equipment, makes observations, and calculates and records results; receives, types, tests, and records blood bank inventories.

Job Description
Hours:
40 hours•Monday thru Friday Between the hours of 8:00 am•5:15 pm. The responsibilities of this position include but not limited to. . . Sample collection Processing and Testing (assuring accuracy) Results reporting into EHR and other reporting systems Ability to manage priorities in a large volume lab/practiceRequirements:
Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science and certified MLT (ASCP) or a Bachelor Degree in Medical Laboratory Science and certified MT (ASCP, MLS (ASCP) or CLS, and phlebotomy skills. LIS and EHR experience is preferred.
