Job Description

Responsibilities This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building, testing, troubleshooting, and working closely with engineers on prototype motors, gear motors, motor parts, and related components As a Lab Technician, you'll play an important role in supporting new and modified product designs You'll help build prototypes, run tests, collect data, and keep the lab organized and ready for the next project Building prototype armatures, stators, gear motors, electronic controllers, and other motor-related components Running tests such as horsepower tests, temperature tests, life tests, electronic testing, and other lab testing Collecting, organizing, and maintaining electronic test data Keeping customer parts organized and easy to access Maintaining a clean, organized lab area and making sure equipment is kept in proper operating condition Working with Design Engineers to communicate project timing, prototype changes, print changes, tooling needs, and testing feedback Helping identify tools, equipment, test equipment, and supplies needed for normal and special lab testing projects Supporting continuous improvement efforts across the company This role gives you the chance to work directly with prototypes, testing, and real product development rather than doing the same task every day Qualifications Are you mechanically inclined, curious, and energized by hands-on problem solving? is looking for a Lab Technician to join our Engineering team and help bring new motor designs and product improvements to life We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and is not afraid to dig into a problem, ask questions, and figure things out A 2-year degree in Electrical Mechanical Technology or equivalent education and/or experience Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills Interest in motors, testing, prototyping, or product development Ability to stay organized and manage details Willingness to work closely with Engineering and communicate project updates clearly A continuous improvement mindset No prior experience is required for this role, making it a strong opportunity for someone with the right technical background, curiosity, and hands-on ability Bring your mechanical aptitude, curiosity, and problem-solving mindset
Pay:
$30.00 - $32.00 per hour
