Responsibilities:
1.
Device Receiving, Cleaning, and Inspection:
- Receive incoming mobile devices (phones, tablets, etc.) from clients or carriers.
- Clean devices and inspect for physical damage, functionality, and completeness.
2.
Device Deployment and Kitting:
- Prepare devices for deployment by configuring settings, installing necessary software, and ensuring they are ready for use.
- Assemble device kits (including accessories, manuals, and SIM cards) for clients.
3.
Staging and Activation:
- Set up devices with appropriate user profiles, applications, and security settings.
- Activate devices on cellular networks and troubleshoot any activation issues.
4.
Repairs and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on mobile devices.
- Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve complex problems.
5.
Asset Management:
- Maintain accurate records of all devices in inventory.
- Track device movements, upgrades, and replacements.
- Assist with device audits and inventory reconciliation.
6.
Recycling and Disposal:
- Properly dispose of outdated or non-functional devices following environmental guidelines.
- Coordinate with recycling partners to ensure responsible disposal.
7.
Client Support:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients regarding device-related inquiries.
- Assist with device setup, troubleshooting, and user training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Apple Certified iOS Technician) preferred.
- Experience in mobile device repair, deployment, or technical support.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
